Married One Year- Seventy to go

Meredith and Heath have been married one year, June 10, 2006 was their wedding day.

It has been a year tomorrow and we still do not have the wedding pictures, yes, we are aggravated with the photographer. She told me four weeks ago that she has my "mothers" album ready but has not yet finished the wedding album for the kids. I have not seen it yet.

I have been reading tonight about adding video to a blog. I have not edited HTML at all in my life so I need to read this information again to be comfortable with video publishing. Hopefully in the near future, I will add some of the wedding video to this post.

The Rutherfords live down the street from us. About three blocks to be exact and we have the privilege of seeing them often. They have gone to Abilene Texas this weekend to attend Chrissy Cothams lingerie shower and then they will travel to Dallas for a baseball game tomorrow and a few days of relaxation before returning to Clovis.

We are so happy for you both and wish you at least seventy more great years together.

Amistad, New Mexico

Major Medical services patients as far north as Amistad, NM. I hired a new delivery driver this past week and I rode with her every day to teach her the routes she would be driving.

The morning we were leaving for Amistad I told her I needed to grab my camera because I love the "church" that sits in the horizon as you approach Amistad.

Here is a picture of this church when you are approaching from the east. It just stands out there with so much "pride".

We drove up to the church to take a close up picture. A beautiful building in this very small village of Amistad.

Here is a sign on the foundation of the church beside the entrance. It says 1909, I guess that is when this was built.

Tory and Geoff Graduate from Texas Tech

Texas Tech graduates, Geoff Vernon and Tory Roberts. It seems like yesterday that both you guys left for college.

Tory is starting a career as an Insurance Agent with NASE in Lubbock, Texas. Geoff is in Houston, TX working for BP as a chemical engineer. Geoff is engaged to Amy and they will be married in January and Tory... well he doesn't have a girl right now.

I can't believe that Tory is an "adult". Tory, my first meeting with you, you were just a tiny baby. You have grown up and "clowned" your way to adulthood. I still have a bucket load of pictures of you being funny that I will show at your wedding! We wish you the best in your career and all that you do.

Geoff, I didn't meet you until your family moved here during your teen years. You have always been an awesome student and now you are starting a career in engineering, and engaged to be married. We are so happy for you and Amy.

Both guys love their Saviour Jesus Christ. This will be what helps both of your through life as an employee, husband and friend.
