May 5th - Cinco de Mayo Ok, so we aren't hispanic, it was a reason to celebrate friendship. Meredith and Heath decided today to have a few people over for a celebration of this holiday. What better home to celebrate a spanish holiday? We had burritos, nachos, quesadillas, whatever you chose to make for yourself and then came the desserts. They were wonderful.
Once again, a time to be with friends and laugh.
Kathy and Mere made those wonderful slushy drinks that were served at Mere's bridesmaids luncheon.
We had a lemon lime and a strawberry drink.

Now we can get ready 
for Juneteenth!!! (Lucy, we will celebrate this in your honor). Lucy is my multicultural friend. She attends all the ethnic events in the area.

The next special event? "hooray, hooray for the 8th of May". How old will you be Steve? 39? Steve and Ilene are barely keeping up with us in age. Really, you will be 42?
And then there is the 10th of May, our son-in-laws 26 Birthday. Heath, we do remember you have a special day coming.
We are getting ready for graduations from High School, wedding showers, weddings, we are gearing up for this busy season, the next four months.
